Based on the requirements of the FHNW Academy of Art and Design, the new Minergie-P-Eco-standard tower block has a main usable area of 6,500m2 spread over 9 storeys. The project was developed with the Design to Cost method. The building has a high level of structural flexibility – it can be adapted to changing demands with minimal structural interventions. As its first user, the FHNW Academy of Art and Design plans to stay for at least 30 years.
