Art Basel, Miami Beach

Art Basel has been successfully running the Art Basel Miami Beach art show every year since 2002. For this purpose, it rents the city's existing convention center with an area of approximately 46,000 m2. Around 250 galleries and 75,000 visitors take part every year in the five-day event in December. The convention center was continuously expanded between 1957 and 1989. To bring it up to the latest trade fair standards, it has been extensively renovated by the city of Miami Beach.
