Capsule Hotel Zurich Airport

On an area of approx. 1000m2 at Zurich Airport, the largest capsule hotel in Switzerland has been built. Travellers are able to benefit from Alpine Garden AG's 144 lockable and sound-insulated sleeping capsules as well as gastronomy, meeting and coworking areas located directly on the premises of Zurich Airport.

General planner

Our Tasks

As General Planner, waldner partner was responsible for the overall organisation and realisation of the Capsule Hotel Zurich Airport. Our tasks included the building permission application, tendering, construction supervision, cost- and quality-control as well as scheduling. Throughout the process we worked closely with the owner of Capsule Hotels as well as with Zurich Airport as landlord. Requirements were constantly assessed with regards to costs, quality and timing.
