Infokiosk "Rendez-vous 4056"

At a tram stop in the St. Johann area of Basel, empty telephone cabins were converted to a social work office. In «Rendezvous 4056» many different types of people meet: those waiting for trams, Schwarzer Peter visitors, Boulevard-Café guests, people from the neighbourhood, advice-seekers and kiosk clientele. The social work association Verein für Gassenarbeit Schwarzer Peter lends an ear in this small, protected room. The open space with seating next to the kiosk invites people to stay a while.
