Gloriastrasse 70, Zurich

The 6-storey building constructed in 1897 was renovated in 1943. On each storey one apartment was converted into three. The floor plans remained unchanged. The goal of this project was to adapt the floor plans to the current and future residential market. Large rooms, high-quality parquet flooring and above all an exclusive view over the lake and city characterise the property. New balconies further increase the value of the apartments. The floor construction (wooden beams) dating back to the original construction year required sound insulation. The building's technical systems and facilities were replaced. Kitchens and bathrooms were substituted and where necessary replanned.
